1. Correct Temperature

Ideal chemical temperature for application is between 18° C (min) and 30° C (max).

  1. Temperature Strip

Each system is equipped with a temperature sense strip on the “B” component (white) tank. The temperature sensing strip shows three colours:

Blue indicating that the chemicals are too cold

Red indicating that the chemicals are too warm.

Green indicating that the chemicals are within the ideal temperature range.

Perfect temperature will indicate in the centre of the green indicator, as shown in the image above.

  1. Versi-Foam Storage

The Versi-Foam systems should be stored in an environment of 21° C (min) and 27° C (max) for 24 hours prior to use.

If the chemicals are too cold, you are probably dispensing foam that is “A” component (green tank) rich. It will be darker in colour and may have a crunchy, glassy surface texture. Warm them up, shake the tanks vigorously and check the chemical flow from the face of the gun. In the event of insufficient storage in cold temperatures the Versi-Foam may crystallise. In this instance a filter while need to be installed to the system to eliminate this issue.

If the chemicals are too warm, you are probably dispensing foam that is “B” component (white tank) rich. It will be whiter in colour and have a spongy surface texture. Cool them down, shake the tanks vigorously and check the chemical flow from the face of the gun.
